It's a great addition to any modern military museum, arms display, or even your man cave.

The gun is attached to a naval style arm that mounts into a robust compact base, small enough to fit onto a shelf or table top.

Metal parts include all mil-spec and stainless steel fasteners, pins and springs.

Meticulous Design Process

This project started 15 years ago.  As a fan of the minigun, I wanted to reproduce it as accurately as possible.  With the help of an actual minigun manufacturer, I was able to to have all the parts in hand for measurements and CAD file creation.  The receiver housing, which is the regulated part, was made from the publicly available blueprints.  Measurements of each and every part were taken to create accurate CAD files for 3d printing.

A Brief History of the M134 Minigun

The General Electric M134 Minigun is a 7.62x51mm NATO, six-barrel rotary machine gun with a high rate of fire, typically between 2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute. Developed by General Electric in the 1960s, the Minigun was based on the Gatling gun design from the 19th century, which used multiple rotating barrels to achieve a high rate of fire without overheating. The "mini" in Minigun refers to the fact that this weapon is a scaled-down version of the larger M61 Vulcan, a 20mm rotary cannon also developed by General Electric for aircraft use. The M134 was initially intended for use in helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to provide overwhelming firepower against ground targets.

Pop Culture and the M134 Minigun

The M134 Minigun has become an iconic symbol of raw firepower in movies and TV shows, often used to depict scenes of intense action and overwhelming force. Its appearance in films like Predator (1987), where it was famously wielded by Jesse Ventura's character, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), with Arnold Schwarzenegger's character using it to devastating effect, has cemented its status as a cinematic legend. The Minigun's distinctive sound, high rate of fire, and visually impressive stream of bullets make it a favorite for directors aiming to create memorable, adrenaline-pumping moments.
